I have created the project in LSC V8.3.1.

I have no problem to open the project file.

 This is exactly what I did before, but I did it with both an input but also using a logical high input. I have the same IP addresses. I tried to use it with a modbus simulation program on my computer aswell and that works like a charm. Is there anyway you can debug this problem? I was thikning about using WireShark on my computer for the local network but it doesnt seem to send anything at all from the PLC to the ModBus device.

There is a possibility that your software is not working as it should. Please talk to Siemens as Mr. ixo65 suggests. Use the "Support Request" link.

Consider adding a project from your side. It will be a bonus if Mr. ixo65 (or another forum volunteer) has a look at what you have. But all the volunteer assistance still would not help if your software do not run properly.

I did not know it because I couldn't see it anywhere, and I couldn't find it either in the manual of the LOGO! 

But at least it works now so I am happy :)
