You do not describe your Schneider PLC precisely, so we cannot tell what communication interfaces it has that can be used to exchange data with a S7-300 PLC. You do not tell us about the progrmming softwares you will be using on your PLCs, and there are a few versions available both for Schneider and for Siemens,

From what I remember about Schneider PLCs, is that they use Modbus-TCP natibvely, whereas Siemens PLCs would rather use Profibus-DP or Profinet (if they have an Ethernet integrated port or a CP 343-1). So give us the details of your hardware and software and we can provide better answers. There are ways to allow data exchanges with either additional hardware or libraries, but we need to know more.
