Our computer today has no more LPT port. I have WinCC explorer project file that was running smoothly on the Old computer running on Windows XP that consist of physical hardware LPT1.

The project file has configured to LPT1 port for printing line layout of some process values.

My new computer "A-PC" only have USB port and we will the USB to 25pin parallel communication converter and cable DB25 to centronics parallel port for printer model "EPSON LX-300+ II", I added LPT1 port on new computer "A-PC" running on Windows7 via

[Add hardware legacy] in [Device Manager] in Control Panel.

I install printer driver via usb connection to the printer, then I configure printer's share name into "EPSONLX" and map it to the LPT1 port by this cmd command below

the New computer was connected usb to female DB25 parallel converter then a cable male DB25 port to centronics 36pin parallel port for the EPSON printer. I executed this code in CMD to check my communication

And the it prints successfully and good response and printer only prints the line and not the whole page unlike the usb, which is good

Then I installed WinCC Explorer V7.0 to the new computer. And found in runtime the error "failed to create empty document". I found missing LPT1 port in drop down list at Printer Setup in Print Job Properties

of line layout. see attach file: 7.png and I think this is the reason why the error "failed to create empty document" pops out during runtime

My goal is the project file to be work on New PC and printing must be working

How to make LPT1 port being shown to the drop down list of this printer setup for line layout in WinCC Explorer.
