oluwasedago Experienced Member Joined: 3/30/2015 Last visit: 12/13/2025 Posts: 74 Rating: (2)	Hello team, I am currently trying to configure CPU 1516F-3 PN/DP 6ES7 516-3FN01-0AB0 as an OPCUA Client and I have used all the blocks Siemens provided. I am using TIA V16 Update 4 I am able to connect to the device and import the tags. However, when I try to connect from the prgram, I get a BUSY and ERROR output. The Status is: OPCUA Status:16#8601 OPCUA Diag Status: 16#8601 OPCUA DIag Subfuncton status: 16#8012_0000 Please, what can I do to solve this error and whee can I get the definition? The manual only describes the OPCUA status 16#8601 Error during connect (SFB "OPC_UA_Connect"). Thank you. I have attached the screenshot. Attachment opcua error.jpg (726 Downloads)

oluwasedago Experienced Member Joined: 3/30/2015 Last visit: 12/13/2025 Posts: 74 Rating: (2)	I managed to find the OPCUA error list and found that the error points to a certificate issue. 8012_0000 -> BadCertificateInvalid -> The certificate provided as a parameter is not valid. I do not know where to edit this or how to change this. Any help would be appreciated.
