Hi Zack;

did you manage to communicate S7-1500 with A2LP131 via Profinet?I have the same problem, S7-1500 works as an I-Device and A2ALP131 as a controller.I generated an XML configuration in TIA-Portal and imported it in SyCon-CentumVP but communication does not work.First of all, ping to the A2LP131 controller does not work despite loading the configuration to it.Do you have any working example?Thank you in advance.

you looks like missunderstanded something here. Your A2LP131 is PN Controller so all is required to do there, correct cfg and tests with PN Slave device (S7-1500). Your ping must be ok from PC to see both devices. This Forum is about Siemens products so probably no support for exact cfg of 3-rd party devices but only some general advices as I'm giving you also.

you don't need to be touched, I try everytime answer as question is. If question is without any other specific required data then it is hard to maybe ask for required things with more posts to have maybe finally all what is expected. On other side this world comes looks like to feeling that only your post is that important and answer is google depended. No and will be not. Binary answers are logical because they are logical but understanding of situation and experience must be there. Who don't have experience can't judge anything. You can also be in group of users that are here without any answer, you can only check. You understand maybe also that we are here to give best help that we can offer and without any sallary. To feel be touched is then simply something what I can hard to understand. No problem but your description gives to Forum nothing, what exactly problem you had and how you did solution. Do you want change something with that?

You have also some other choices like give your problem to some more experienced colegaue or company with higher sallary but I understand it's more comfortable ask here with free and then say - look at me what I've solved... (with other users help). I understand to this, no problem also with this. But then really I'm surprised with some reactions like your is...

What I can imagine what you really require, maybe from my projects from history but hope you don't want my complex projects and also set with some security and what is more important rules about copyright.
