flexible 2008 device version question

fish Posts: 47 Rating: (0)	Dear All I have one question about Flexible2008. About device version. My project devece is TP177B. Flexible2008 defult device version is 1.1.2.0.(picture 1) Now,I want to chang the device version to 1.1.1.0.(picture 2) When I chang version 1.1.2.0 to 1.1.1.0 that I can changed. I mean if you do not want to configure your TP with a lower version of win cc flex it is not necessary. You already have 2008 so why do you want to downgrade? Perhaps I think(I don't know) after downgrading you will see those in the downgrad software. Best regards.

And I want to check that device version whether it is Siemens bug. I think,Ifthe flexiblecan not chang the version. Why Siemens put the old version on the software?

Arunakat1 Posts: 217 Rating: (52)	Hi, Sorry I don’t want to neglect your problem, just ask why it is necessary. Perhaps for that you have to use version management in win CC flex. I think (don’t know exactly) those items disappear because the image, which use for runtime is different with the lower version of image. So you cannot compile, simulate runtime. Also let see what others will say. Best regards.
