Dear All,

  I want to show System Login Window when Wincc runtime start. After user login it will allow user to operate the system.

Please guide me how to configure this??

Hello,

each object has under Properties --> Miscellaneous --> Authorization different access possibilities.

For example an I/o Field Authorization: Value input. When the user login he can change the Value in an I/O Field. The rights for this you can set in the User Administration.

       Thanks for your reply. I have checked the script it working with event base I show System Login Window on startup of Wincc Runtime . It should display automatically when I put Wincc in Runtime.

Hello YogendraG,

you can call by C-script the function "PASSLoginDialog".
It is in Standardfunctions / option.
If you would not have this fubntion, you may not have installed the
option Basic Process Control.

Alternatively you can execute the following C-script:

#pragma code ("useadmin.dll")
#include "PWRT_api.h"
#pragma code()
PWRTLogin('c');

The parameter is the Screen, where the dialog should appear,
if you have more then one monitor.
It is a character '1' not a number 1.

An other possibility is, to define a shortcut for login in the
Projectproperties.

if the logon-window should come automatically, when you start the runtime,
then place the script in the "Open Picture"-Event of your start-picture
