In the case you have mentioned, it really makes sense to create another project with WinCC, you do the statics and framework. The PLC group creates the datablocks and gives it you the PLC Project. You then compile them both and you have the tags. If you know the structure you can as well create the structure in the PLC based and then compile.Of course the structure should be available to PLC guys also. Manual work is a permanent decision. That means any future changes will have to be implemented manually. And that costs a lot of time and money. Krish

innocent guy Posts: 25 Rating: (0)	I have one more problem, i have used two I/O fields in wincc, to one I/O field i have assigned internal win cc tag and to other i have assigned sybol from S7 program. the one which is assigned internal tag is working perfect while the second one is not working i.e, when i assign values in PLCSIM, those values do not appear in run time. the tag which is labelled 2 in the fig (attachment) is internal tag working fine, while the I/O field which is labelled 1 showing error. plz Help Attachment tags.jpg (156 Downloads)
