Hello,

I have a S7-1200 and I connect my HMI and various profinet sensors

My customer would like to connect to the PLC using GET PUT from their S7-1500.

Due to the size/complexity of the network I want to add a separate ethernet interface.

My problem is I can not connect to the S7-1200 via the CP1243-1 using GET/PUT.

With my various testing, my HMI won't connect through this port either.

I have had a look through the manual and it does say client server GET PUT is supported.

I have enabled the S7 comms flag in the expansion config.

Any ideas please? Using this would help a lot, especially meaning I only need a single IP address from the customer!

On a plus note, I can use the port to accept a TCP connection! Just not GET/PUT

For now I am testing with two S7-1200 with one using the CP1243-1

From the PDF it looks like I can connect two S7-1200 no problem using this config.

Or I am reading it wrong.

I updated the firmware on the CP module BTW
