Client Connection to redundant-master server

khicontiti Posts: 32 Rating: (0)	Dear all, I have some questions for our now situation regarding redundant-master architecture. I created a server project, a client project. - With server1: I export a data package. Then I duplicate server project into server 2. - With server2:I export a data package. - With Client: I import both data packages of these servers. My question is: i want to display information of a tag that is in both server (e.g: current or voltage value by a I/O in the display of Client). What do I need to do? As I know, each I/O connects directly with a tag of defined server. In case of this server is broken down, the connection between Client and server is disconnected. And Client will connect to Server that is ok. Thus I/O in Client do not dislay tag value. Could you give me some suggests. SmallMonkey

In case server 1 fails for some reason, server 2 will take over the job and retrieves all data from the I/O. During the switch over from server 1 to server 2, the client will switch as well. If some something is not working, feel free to ask. If you just need info please read the Help/information documents in wincc regarding redundancy. Everything is explained in there, even with scenario's. with regards, Ikkezelf

Hope to receiving your support in the future, PS: Do you have any suggest relating to eventlist in this thread.( one message repeats many times). SmallMonkey.
