Hi

When i want to backup my WinCC 7.5 project, i need to close the project to use Project Duplicator to make a backup. 

After i setup WinCC to autostart as a windows service, stopping the project from WinCC Explorer is no longer enough to make a backup. 

What else do i need to close down, using Task manager, to duplicate the project?

In service mode, WinCC runs at Windows startup as a service, that's why when you do the project duplicator it doesn't let you because it is active. There is not much information about this, but you could try to run the reset_wincc.vbs file that you will find on the PC that shuts down all WinCC processes.
