Does LSysLog execute synchronously, or can it require multiple PLC scans to complete?

When answering the question, you need to understand the differences and then post back whether what you want to do is even possible with that library.

Generally when a Siemens block requires a leading edge from false to true, it runs until the Done output becomes true - which you can check.

In the next network after the LSysLog library block call, use the leading edge (using -|p|- ) block input goes true, compare with the block's Done output.

If Done is true in the same scan the block input's input went true, you _possibly_ can call that same block multiple times per PLC scan.

Hi everyone,

I am a new user of Tia portal, but I am struggling to solve my next problem.

I want to send Syslog messages mulitple times per cycle.

To send one message I have to make an execute input True and False, after that a message is send.

I used the 'LSyslog' library for this project.

Does someone have an idea to solve this?

Your screenshot resolution was too low for me to see any of the details.  It looks like some random block and a few rungs of LAD logic with very blurry tag names.

You are right about Siemens blocks having a done output, LSyslog is no exception. 

Attached, you will find a screenshot illustrating the suggestion you made for testing whether this block is capable of sending multiple messages at once.

And if I did it right it is possible.

What would be a next step to send multiple messages per cycle
