Hello

I have been trying to import Siemens product svg files into MS Visio, but they do not work. The files appear as black boxes within Visio. Every product svg has the same outcome, regardless of SCALANCE, Ruggedcom or other product families. Is this a known incompatibility? I'm on Office 365, version 2203.

I'd like to create network architectures in Visio, can anyone help me to locate Visio stencils for SCALANCE and Ruggedcom products?

What is the source of the SVG?.. where did you get it?
With a sample I can check what it does in Inkscape (https://inkscape.org/).

I am using the internal image database to download svg files. 

for example, this one for the SCALANCE XC206 (https://www.automation.siemens.com/bilddb/index.aspx?gridview=view2&objkey=G_SY02_XX_02633&showdetail=true&view=Search)

Hello.

Thanks for the link. I guess you still have the option to use the PNG bitmap file in Visio, if all else fails. I have had a look at the SVG in Edge, Libre Office Draw and in Inkscape. "Draw" did not reproduce the correct view. 

I have tried to do some quick conversion but it made it worse. I think if it displays correctly in "Draw" then if will be okay for you. Sorry -- I cannot be of more help.

Thank you for confirming the problem. I'm not sure if png files is a scalable solution for network architectures, especially with multiple embedded connection points and connections.

Do you know if standard visio stencils are available for Siemens networking products, and where I could get them from?
