Comparison Offline to offline ladder netword alignment

Gabriele Corrieri Advanced Member Joined: 11/30/2011 Last visit: 5/1/2025 Posts: 49 Rating: (0)	Hello I'm facing from different release of tia porta (I think from 10.5 to 19) that in offline to offline comparison there's some issue that the block editor understand different from me for determine if the left network is the "same" of the right one: I don't understand (and I don't want to know) the logic behind the comparison that determine if compare left to right network or make one of both different and not do a comparison and split them to two different comparison levels. My question is: there's something to do to force TIA Portal to align, in comparison mode, one network in left window to another in right window?

The first topic was titled: "LAD offline / offline comparison ladder network synchronization". This title is a very good description. The function you seek is not available. It would have been a very helpful function to be able to tell the system to "synchronise from here". I would think you could mark the left network and mark the right network to force the Step7 software to continue the compare function from there. It is a problem I get across regularly.. and it has nothing to do with old version software.

Synchronize from here could be one of the function that could be very useful in block comparison. For forcing in some way the sync I would need to put one rung in both blocks (the comparison source, that is read only, and in comparison target) For now in the meantime tto obtain a "Sync from here" function I worked with a split screen as comparison function but without the hightlight, compare and scroll both function that are so useful. Where I can subscribe for a new function in comparison?

The German language forum had some opportunity to tell Siemens what they would like to see in the development cycle. We were not afforded the same luxury.
