Dear all,

I am having trouble trying to home a servo motor using an external proximity switch as the reference point.  I am using the SinaPos block with TIA V19 and a CU310 control unit with a 1FK7 servo motor.

When I reference the servo motor using the encoder zero mark (Mode 5 in SInaPos), I am able to set the reference point, but when I try the same with an external zero mark (Mode 4 in SinaPos), I get odd behaivor with the servo motor (it starts and stops a short distance repeatedly).

I have connected a proximity switch to DI/DO 9 and have set it in the drive parameterization settings as the Digital input of the external zero mark.

Have I missed a setting in the parameters?

Maybe the switch is bouncing.

Sorry for my delayed reply.

I switched out the sensor and it seems to have solved the issue.  Thank you for the suggestion!
