Sinaut micro with PAC3200/4200 energy monitor

(Either PAC3200 or PAC4200 see attached). I want to take the information (values for voltage, current, power values, frequency, power factor etc.) from the PAC meter and transfer it over GSM/GPRS to a control station. Does anyone have any experience or information on a similar configuration? I am looking for the most cost effective solution. I am also looking for information on data transfer rates and communication/network configurations between these meters the PLC and the Sinaut equipment. Any help or information is appreciated! You need Profibus-DP master for polling data from slaves (PAC3200). S7-22x can only be Profibus-DP slave. You must have PAC3200 with modbus module to use with S7-22x. Then you simply buy modbus master library for S7-22x and acquire values from PAC3200 via modbus and store it in CPU memory. Then you should be able to read this memoty with SINAUT MICRO-SC

Modbus module is simply modbus library that can be ordered with order number 6ES7830-2BC00-0YX0. When you buy this library from Siemens then you'll get all information about programming modbus master in S7-22x PLC. You can use the same cables as for Profibu-DP or any RS-485 2 wire standard cable. The same is for connectors. Data transfer rates depends on distance. There are tables with distances and baudrates, but you can use folowing formula to calculate max length of cable at specified baudrate: Length in m = 1200 / ( 1 + ( Baud-rate / 250 )² )^0.5 Abyrne Or any information on service provider SIM card options for data streaming from a MD-720-3 modem? Every different country has different GSM providers with different options. Basically your GSM provider must provide you possibility of data call (CSD protocol).
