hi, We are researching the network structure of Siprotec 5 relays. In this document, Siemens explains a lot about the protocols, but it is not clear whether these relays can be connected over a network as a profinet RING(SIP5_ComProt_V9.80_Manual_C055-K_en.pdf).(SIPROTEC 5 - Communication protocols - ID: 109740816 - Industry Support Siemens) Siemens has talked about protocol S2 redundancy, but we know that for relays, the network has to be ring-shaped, and while S2 is costly. We would be happy if you have practical information about this and share it with us. |
