I'm new to scl programming. I need a little help to make the logic.

I have to push button and 2 outputs.

The condition is

when both inputs are pressed I need to energies output 1 for 5 seconds.

Again both input are pressed I need to energies output 2 for 5 seconds.

The cycle repeats.

I need this logic in SCL programming

You say you are new to SCL. But you are not new to PLC logics - right? So what exactly is the roadblock in your way? -- since we see no effort from your side.

So how about your solve the logic in any program language you feel comfortable with. It could be LAD / FBD / C++ / Python. Then return with that program in your next response. Also mention which text based program languages you do know (if any). Best to mention also which processor you are developing code for with which Step7 version.

What SCL code do you have already?

Do you have logic that detects when an input is pressed (is true)?

Do you have logic that can turn on an output (set it to true)?

Do you have any timing mechanisms configured?

I Have made in Ladder logic found that the logic full filling my requirement. Request you to please kindly help me provide the same in SCL Version please.

Hello. 

Thanks for adding your program piece. Have you simulated the piece already? Do you know that it works? I have a problem with the piece where you use a REAL number. But before we get there some basics first.

(1) OR

(4) Positive edge trigger..

edge  := X1 and not oldX1;
oldX1 := X1;

 
(5) Something like a timer is best placed from the toolbox. Drag and drop the timer just as you would with a LAD code segment. The parts that you need to fill out is shown. Like with LAD no all the SCL parameters need to be filled out. Look at the post of Mr. Piotr for some hints.

To proceed, I would suggest that you open and SCL network between LAD networks. Right click on a network title and select 'add SCL network". Write the translation of LAD to the new SCL new network. Have someone or this forum check your progress before we progress to the next phase.
