Hello everyone! I am trying to get my communication working but only one part is working alright. So, I have the following hardware: 1) PLC1= S7-315-2EH14-0AB0 together with CP 342-5DA03-0XE0 (Tia Portal v14) 2) PLC2= S7-416-3XS07-0AB0 (TIA Portal v14) 3) PLC3= S7-3XL00-0AB0 (Simatic Manager v7.5) Communication protocol is Profibus. -PLC1 is master to PLC2 over an DP interface located on the CPU. The project is done in TIA Portal. The functions which I am using are DPWR and DPRD. -I want to transfer data from PLC1 to the PLC3 using a CP 342-5 where the project of PLC3 is done in Simatic Manager using DP_Send and DP_Recv. So, I have added the PLC1 station in the same project with its hardware configuration and added the CP 342-5 as a slave in the hardware configuration of PLC3. -Now the strange thing happens: when I download the hardware configuration of the PLC1 inside TIA Portal, the communication between PLC1 and PLC2 is working but not the communication between PLC1 and PLC3. After I download the hardware configuration of PLC1 inside Simatic Manager, the communication between PLC1 and PLC3 starts working, but the PLC1 and PLC2 stops working. It seems like the hardware configurations of TIA/Simatic override some important things, but I cannot find the problem. P.S. I cannot transfer PLC3 to TIA Portal. Best regards! In TIA Portal the CP had to be changed to DP Slave without an assigned master. |
