Hi All,

I have been trying to link a Tia Portal V17 S7-1200 PLC to a S7-300 V5.6 PLC using a lean card. When I set-up with 2 x new plc's on a test rig it communicates no problem. When I try to connect the S7-1200 to the original s7-300 in the field. The S7 connection is showing "Offline Connection only". I have tried the following based on guidance from searches.

1. Reset the S7-1200 and downloaded the Hardware & Software components again.
2. Inserted the S7-300 as a PLC in the S7-1200 program to create the links.

Lean Card 1 address is 192.168.119.25
Lean Card 2 address is 192.168.219.5

I am trying to connect to Lean Card 2.

One theory I have is that there are 2 x Lean Cards on the S7-300 rack due to it communicating with a Modbus PLC elsewhere onsite. Could this be affecting it? When I test in the test rig. There is only 1 lean card.
The lean cards are also mounted on an extension rail. could this be part of the issue?
