I am trying to use the lmqtt library according to this application example. But when I try to define the broker ip, a syntax error is displayed as shown in the attached image. I also tried test.mosquitto.org with the same result. How does the ip have to be formatted or what else am I missing here?

Its a String so you have to use ' ' around the value, like for example:

'192.168.0.1'
