henno2000 Posts: 177 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have previously used WinCC User Administrator to set permissions to give staff levels of authority for operating the SCADA. What I am now wanting to do, it create an 'override' function with the screen, where for certain conditions, a higher level user will be able to login and operate a particular button. When this button is pressed, I would then like to automatically logout of the system. I have thought of two possible ways to achieve this: 1 - Set the automatic logout time to a low value (5 seconds) in User Administrator 2 - Incorporate code within the button to log the user out I believe the second option would be more practicable. (Is the code freely available to do this?) Has anyone achieved this before, or have a better idea? Regards, henno2000

I'm not sure to understand what you means.....Why HIGH user level should login with particular condition only?...couls you explain a lil better what should be that condition? ... coming from field or coming from somewhere else? henno2000 Posts: 177 Rating: (0)	Part of the design spec was to allow a one time button only to be accessible by higher end users to override pariticular interlocks. The design is for the automation of lockgates. There are various interlocks so that not all of the gates can be opened at the same time. This interlock can be overridden during high tides etc.

You can do that in 2 ways: 1) "high end user" can log on/off all time without restriction. You can use object properties like "operator ontrol-enable" or "display" to enable action 2)use "script" to enable "Authorization" for command when "particular condition" are fullfilled Regards
