Can't add a communication module to ET200SP

Rafal S Joined: 11/27/2023 Last visit: 11/19/2025 Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have two questions: 1) What is the meaning of grayed icon with red mark in hardware catalog in TIA Portal V18? 2) Why can't I add a profibus CM module (6ES7545-5DA00-0AB0) to the ET200SP rack with IM module (6ES7155-6AA01-0BN0)? When i try to catch and move this module from HW catalog, there is no blue highlight which shows where it could be placed.

The reason why you cannot add the communication module to your configuration is that it can only be integrated in a configuration using an ET 200SP CPU. Kind regards Stefan
