Wincc 7.0 Installation Error (Common Archiving)

autom Posts: 89 Rating: (1)	Hello Guys i have a serius problem with Wincc 7.0. when i try to install in my PC (Xeon) with windows XP a n error occured at the beggining off installation. Wincc common Archiving can not install (ERROR). And the installation Aborted. Please Help!!!!!!!!!!

autom Posts: 89 Rating: (1)	I Use Windows Xp SP2 with the last updates. The PC was formated because came to us with Windows XP Sp3. After the format i download and install the last updates from microsoft web site, (not the SP3),then i try to put wincc 7.0 and the error occured. Is any Update that can't leave me to put wincc at the PC???? After all that i thing i will format again the PC and i put the wincc without updates. Any Suggestions????????? Thang you guys in advance!

Carla Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I have the same problem with WinCC 6.0 SP 4. I find the installation of SP2 not an option since I have a preinstalled SP3 on my computer and uninstalling WinXP has a to big an impact on my whole system. Isn't there any other possibility?

Regards Cumu But WinCC V6.0 SP4 will run perfectly if you FIRST install WinCC and do the SP3 installation after.
