Hi, That is exactly what the EMT (and EPHT) is designed for. An EMT/EPHT is a CFC component with exactly one SFC type and serves as a template. When changes are made to the SFC, you need to synchronize it with the AS projects via the "normal" procedure: Select the master library in Component View->Charts->Update Block Types. The SFC is now synchronized with the project and all instances are updated. When you have made changes to the CFC component in the EMT/EPHT like adding an And04 block or interconnected something with the SFC, then you need to synchronize plant types where all EM instances (or EPH) are updated. For this, select the Plant View->Select AS project right click->Plant types->Synchronize. If you have made changes to the CFC component, but not at the SFC, you won't need to update the SFC-> Synchronize plant types is then enough Please see the following manual starting at chapter 10: SIMATIC PCS 7 Process Control System Compendium Part C - Equipment Phases with SFC Types |
