To log alarms on the WinCC Unified Comfort Panel, you must configure logging correctly. You may have forgotten to assign an alarm class to logging.

You must also make sure that the runtime is shut down correctly before unplugging the storage device. If not, the current logging segment may not be written correctly.

However, one important fact - which you probably already know - is that you must trigger an alarm in order for it to be logged.

If these hints do not help, please provide more details about the system you are using, the versions, and your configuration.

For what do you need to connect to the database of the alarm logging?

to show logged alarms you should use the Alarm Control in RT

I do not know exactly the structure of the database but perhaps there are only entries if you use Alarm Parameter Values?

Its because for a normal user the structure of the alarm logging tables in the background are not important because the only access you use to alarm logging is with the standard interfaces like Controls, Scripts and so on and not via SQL Lite browser
