If the error occurs even after deleting the IM folder then there could be also a damaged EDB component in this TIA Version (event Database).

I had this issue with a v13 installation in the past.

I got an updated setup and could do the update with commandline in only a few minutes.

Perhaps It would be a good idea to open a Service Request at Siemens Support.

they can tell you if there is a quick solution possible

does anyone have a solution for this problem? after installing tia 17 and 18 I can't compile the wincc project in tia 14 because I have these errors. Deleting the IM folder and re-compiling the whole thing doesn't help, during compilation it throws an error for the whole tia or errors like in the first post

 As I wrote you could try to open a Service Request, perhaps it is a damaged Installation and Support can help with a new installer package for SIMATIC EDB

If you have the same messages while compiling then you also could open a Service Request, Perhaps the support has a repair instlalation file of the defect component
