I also noticed the "Long running command detected" message a lot. However, most of the time this was only in the startup process, and once the runtime was running, it did not come up again.

But to be honest, reading the traces is something that requires more information to analyze, and that should be done by Siemens engineers. So you might consider creating a support request for this topic.

Since no one has posted a note that this problem has been reported to Siemens, I would not expect a fix for this problem. However, to me it is just an unnecessary trace message that seems to have no impact on the system. It is annoying to me, but not a problem. However, we can wait for the upcoming V20 release to see if it has already been addressed by development.

The "Long running command detected" message itself does not tell you much. If it is caused by an internal process, it needs to be addressed by development. But it can also be caused by a user-created script. Having less memory will affect the runtime of some commands, so that can be a reason for getting this message.
