How to use faceplates' tags in WinCC7.0 (linking problem) ?

How to link these tags to my WinCC internal tags? These tags are used inside my faceplates types mainly to change colors. After I try to use it in my Process View (Faceplate Instance): When I click "Linking -> Tag Connections...", the windows opens empty (places used and find & replace)!!! Please help me. I haven't used this faceplates yet, but there was a thread about the connection of the faceplate internal tags to external tags, seems to be pretty complicated, but haven't seen anything else, hope somebody will write the better solution for you. There must be something wrong in my WinCC installation because some properties and events are missing when I want to configure my faceplate type (no "external" property, ...). David.
