Read LOGO! 8 RTC Date and Time via modbus

iblob_1 Joined: 10/30/2024 Last visit: 3/27/2025 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello everybody, I'm trying to read Date and time from LOGO! 8 via modbus. As per LOGO Soft manual, they are mapped at VB985 ... VB990, but I'm not able to translate these addresses either for modbus FC3, neither for modbus FC4 functions. Can somebody give me some exaple about ? Thank you in advance

LOGO! 8.FS4 is the server and test client is the Modbus Tester from Schneider Electric and/or PowerHud modbus tester tool. I've elese tried to send requests by others pc libraries and tools, but without succes.

You can read this VM memory area remotely using Modbus, but not byte by byte, only word by word. To do this, you must use the holding register function FC3. You must read HR492 to HR495. HR492 = VW984 = VB984 + VB985. VB985 is the year. HR493 = VW986 = VB986 + VB987. VB986 is the month, VB987 is the day. HR494 = VW988 = VB988 + VB989. VB988 are the hours, VB989 are the minutes. HR495 = VW990 = VB990 + VB991. VB990 are the seconds.
