I am also Facing the same issue.I am Using PCS 7 V9.1 SP2. I also have one ESOS configured as WinCC Application & other 2 OS( OS Single Station) configured as WinCC Application reference. Also want to clarify that this is not server client setup.

This is the Procedure I am following.

1) Right Click on Charts > Compile

2) Right Click on Charts > PLC > Download.

3) ESOS > WinCC Application > esos > Compile

4) OS1 > WinCC Application Reference > os(1)Ref(1) > PLC > Download.

5) OS2 > WinCC Application Reference > os(1)Ref(2) > PLC > Download.

I have Added some interlocks and Permissive to motor.On ESOS PC SCADA the faceplate of Motor shows the Interlocks and Permit Button and we also able to click on it. But on the OS1 & OS2 Motor faceplates showing those Interlocks and Permissive button but we are unable to click on it. I tried Compiling entire OS and downloaded to both OS1 & OS2.Also checked License and WinCC user Administrator rights. All License are OK and All Rights are given already but still not helping.

Please help me through this issue if you have solution on it.

ont eh ES/OS how do you start runtime ? did you activated the option ‘ Allow Runtime on ES’ from wincc explorer project ?

i think your issue is related to the fact that you are running your OS as a server Project or may be you need to generate Server data.

Verify the configuration of the OS projects for OS1 and OS2. Ensure that the WinCC Application Reference projects are correctly set up as single-user projects, not multi-user projects. This configuration mismatch can cause issues with button functionality and tag linking.

Check the tag paths and symbolic names used in the OS1 and OS2 projects. If the tags reference symbolic names from the ESOS project, this can cause the buttons to be disabled. Update the tag paths to ensure they are correctly linked to the respective OS project and not referencing data from the ESOS project.

Recompile the OS projects for OS1 and OS2 after making these changes. Ensure that the text library and tag management are updated during the compilation process to reflect the corrected links.

Ensure that the OS1 and OS2 projects are fully compiled and downloaded after making these adjustments. This includes compiling the WinCC Application Reference projects and downloading them to the respective OS stations.

Hello Sir,

 I checked my Wincc Application reference project setup.. they are correctly assigned. I even deleted those references and reconfigured again those again.

Later I entire compiled ESOS and downloaded entire.I also formatted my OS pc and did installations again  but still facing the same issue. 

Can you tell me how should i update the tag path?
