if you use the WinCC Alarm Control, you can use the "export data" (enabel in register "toolbar"). Thats the easiest way.
if you use the OS project editor, you can enable the "export data"-Button onoperator message.

open the @AlarmOperation.PDL. Click double at the list and activate in the register "toolbar" the keyboard function "export data" .

What do you mean with "...print the operator message from the I/O..."?
How do you want trigger the export?
Where do you show the messages.
What is shown when you want to start the export?
