What are "micoms", what are "drise"? What kind of communication setups do they support? What PLC do you want to use for communications with these elements? What communicationnetworks does this PLC support, at this moment? Would you accept to add a communciation processopr to the PLC if it is required? Micom (type if realy present in the medium cell and dirtribtion cells) what i need from it is to have some information about the voltage and current and pf for example drise(this is a deviece connected to the MCC Panels to give you some information a bout the voltage and current) thanks

Please find out, if this units can be Slaves in the Profibus. If it is so, you need GSD Files to load this units into your HW-Konfig.

( http://www.areva-td.com/solutions/US_366_Solution+Index.html ). Basicaly most of this device supports Modbus and IEC 61850 (with optional Ethernet port). But if you have options "cards" you can "take" other possibilities. Also the simpler devices has inbuild analog ouputs which you can use directly connected to AI into PLC. About "drise" (this is very common name). But the logic is the same. Regards, Hristo Mihalev
