So How could I representREAL data inI/O fieldof WinCC ?
Similarly, I also want to know,How couldI represent DINT data ( Double Integer ) in I/O field of WinCC as DINT format also not available in WinCC?

For both Real and DINT select the data format to Decimal.

For Dint the output format should be without decimal point. For ex: 9999999

For Real the output format should be with decimal point. For ex: 999999.9

where i m supposed to define these decimal values that you suggested in ur reply...in variable table or some where else? also tell me is DB is also necessary to make for this case...if it is plz tell me how it is made ?

Scaling Values: FC105 is a block for analog input scaling.

The scaling block is purely as per straight line formula.

y = y₁ + [(y₂ - y₁) / (x₂ - x₁)] ·(x - x₁)

Where x axis is PIW raw count.

Y axis is your process value axis.

For BIPOLAR: x₁ = –27648.0 and x₂ = +27648.0

For UNIPOLAR: x₁ = 0.0 and x₂ = +27648.0

In FC 105 HI_LIM = y₂, LO_LIM = y₁, IN = x and OUT = y.

IN := PIW512

HI_LIM :=1.000000e+002

LO_LIM :=0.000000e+000

BIPOLAR:=M1.0

RET_VAL:=MW102

OUT :=MD150 // you can assign memory as well as db or more (I,Q,M,D,L,P)

For actual engineering value, it will be shown in your MD150 address whose data type should be Real.

In wincc you have to make a tag of floating point 32 bit.

Have you gone through the previous attracted files?

Please do the exercise

1. Make a tag in Wincc with a “Floating point number 32-Bit IEEE 754”.

2. Take an I/O field go to properties> Output/Inputs

3. Make Field type > I/O field.

4. Make Data format > Decimal.

5. Make Output format > 9999.9
