MODICON Posts: 24 Rating: (0)	Hi, I am using CEMAT V6..Its group face plate has a QUICK STOP Icon which is on a single click. I want to make it like this way that if Operator click the Icon of QUICK STOP then a small window open and in which mentioned that " ARE YOU SURE TO QUCIK STOP YES OR NO. If Operator click on "YES" then a QUICK STOP operate and if he click on "NO" then this small windon closed. Please give a example that how I will do it. Thanks in Advance,

Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (279)	Check how the CMD2Steps is implemented in the BinOp1 button (see @pcs7elements.pdl). This button is used in almost every standard PCS7 object.

Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (279)	Hi MODICON, Have you used the MOTOR block (FB66) in PCS7? Open the faceplate PDL @PG_MOTOR_STANDARD.pdl for the MOTOR block. Check the properties of the Off and On buttons. There is a property called CMD2Steps. Check the button behavior in runtime when you set the CMD2Steps property to Yes and when you set it to No. Regards

Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (279)	Hi MODICON, You are on the right track! I want you to configure a MOTOR block (in CFCand OS). Then set CMD2Steps=Yes in the faceplate for On button and save the faceplate. Now in runtime when you click on the On button you'll notice an additional pop-up window "Are you sure?". Next step is make CMD2Steps=No and try to start the motor and there'll be no "Are you sure?" window. I believe this is exactly what you are looking for, right? I suggested this because I want you to study how this is done so that you can use this technique for the Quick Stop button. Can you manage all this?Let me know. Regards

Nil96 Posts: 325 Rating: (14)	Hi Modicon, What Phantom said is very correct. For better understanding have a look at the scripts --> PCS7_OpenInputBoxBin_V6 , PCS7_Binary_OK_V6. Also have a look at the pdl @PCS7_BedBinaer.pdl Probably once u understand these scipts, u would definelty get a gud idea so as how to implement Cmd2Steps. Hope this helps Regards Nil
