i do not know why wincc runtime interface still latch the status signal while PLC stopped?

Everybody I used wincc 7.0 and PLC s7-300, i do not know why wincc runtime interface stilllatch thestatus signal ( input, output PLC ) while PLC stopped or un-plug network ( mean status input &output of PLC have been changed) communication between PLC and Wincc? Do i make a mistake myseft or this is not good feature of wincc? Please help me! Best Regards!

Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (279)	Hi Michele, If you have a simple I/O field on the WinCC screen connected to a tag in the PLC and you stop the PLC, the I/O field should become gray indicating a failure. What is happening in your case? You canperform simple tests like forcing value in an I/O field etc. I suspect there is a problem with your configuration. Regards

Michele Vie Posts: 25 Rating: (0)	Dear Sir, I used real PLC, I try with simple project wincc, i used object pelete ( circle example) then from properties of this object i select tag( ouput PLC) for flashing . In PLC project i design a smallprogram with someinputs relative to output for tag obove. Runtime wincc , result ok when output PLC change but when the objectis flashing i turn off PLC or unplug network communication this object still keep flashing until i changeto other view runtime and change back again. It meansdoes not auto refresh, only refresh when change to otherview runtime and change back again. Give me idea, please! Best Regards!

Connect the variable with the Dynamic-Dialog. There you can aktivate the optionfield qualitycode. Than you can define the behaviour for all qualitycodes. regards cumulus

Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (279)	Hi Michele, I agree with cumulus. For the I/O field (Smart Objects in Objects Palette) this is built-in. But for Standard Objects you have to take extra care to show connection failure (example: block icons in PCS7). Regards
