mankar Posts: 37 Rating: (0)	Hi... I am doing the project with two redundant servers & 2 clients... I know that we have to make the backup of the server project and i have to activate that backup in the client station which is in the network.... I am correct ? My question is i have two server backup so which backup i have to consider for client station ? Kindly help me those who are all know abt this.... I am new to this configuration....

ABN Posts: 212 Rating: (12)	Dear Mankar, Please clear your configuration to us. 1. If its a Redundant server pair then you need to create a Server station and standby station in simatic Manager. 2. You need to configure respective client stattions. 3. you need to configure a redundant parteners in both server projects. 4. after this you need to generate server data and assign OS servers to the resepctive clients. 5. Downaload the server and projects in resepective machines by configuring a designation path in computer properties. 6. Configure the servers data in all clients. Thanks, ABN

It is a redundant server pair...But my doubt is after configuring redundant partners among any of the server i will create backup for client... or i have to create the master server backup to client. plz give me any useful document or sample projectfor my reference to acheive server client.

Actually i have to activate the redundant backup for the client station.I read the link u attached it is for PCS7 system.I am using step7 and wincc 6.2.If any other link is available of the same data using step7 & wincc6.2? If it is there plz send me it is useful to me... My configuration is two redundant server and client.How to do the client configuration in this case?
