CP 343-1: S7 communications does not start

HansAST Experienced Member Joined: 5/24/2009 Last visit: 10/1/2025 Posts: 90 Rating: (3)	I am trying to configure a 313C cpu with a new CP-343-1 instead of a 343-1-lean because I want to configure Profinet. On an empty PLC (nothing but the hardware config) I can configure the TCP/IP and access it with the PG. However, when I add profinet I/O system then I always get a SF LED and the diagnostic buffer specifies: Profinet I/O cannot be started. In NCM: operating mode is shows Operating mode STOP and show as S7 communication not started.. not defined.. This is also the case for Send?Recv and System connection.. Am I missing something obvious??? Hans
