Hi Aj_SL,Power tags arenative WinCC equivalent of PO's of PCS7 signifying a license with huge amount of tags. Alsosee the following thread: Process Object vs. Power Tags When using native WinCC it very difficult to have a thumb rulethat can be applieduniformly to all industries and needs. For example if you want to depict an analog input value how many tags are you going to use? Just one or moreif you create some limit value tags, hysteresis tags etc. On the other hand if you use PCS7 it is easier tocount since one physical object can count as one PO. IMO, PCS7 data can be appliedto many S7-400 PLC's. Regards |
