A problem with my "alarm logging" configuration

Max57 Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	uel123 And finaly: New files for segment are allways(!) created, if you stop run time. So if you stopped and started run time 3 times in one day, you will have 3 new (pairs!) of db files in your AlarmLogging Folder. From thename of files you wiil also see, whendid you stop and when did you start your RT! Are you sur that one pair of files .mdb AND .ldf is created when I stop and start my RT? I restarted my computer and my RT '3 or 4 times) and I am working with the same pair, it's very strange

I remember, that at my earlier projects (WinCC V6.0), it was so, as I thought. May be it had to do something with version of SQL server (Up to WinCC V6.0 it was version 200*, from WinCC V6.2 an in WinCC V7 it is a version 2005)....... Anyhow, at the moment, I don´t have a proper explanation about number of db files in Archives..... have fun! uel123

Grazzer Posts: 76 Rating: (1)	When I worked with my project at the plant, i had the same problem - very many pairs of file. Then i changed time for segment - and afterwards i had 1 pair of big file (10Gb) and previous many files. When I stopped Runtime there were no new pairs appeared.
