Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (279)	Hi salman92, There are 2 parts: 1. In Faceplate Designer you should include Messages in Selected views. 2. Program the alarms in you FB. See following thread: alarm generating in PCS7 in user's own blocks Please also see the manual Programming Instructions for Blocks. Regards

Nil96 Posts: 325 Rating: (14)	Hi Salman92, What phantom said is correct. For incorporating alarms in user defined FB check this out..... Have a look at the manualPCS 7 - Programming Instructions for Blocks under section 1.7. This gives an clear idea on how to use the messages in user defined FB. Underthe variable declartion STATIC--> create an instance of SFB35. Then create an Input Variable by name mesid1(DWORD). Try connecting the signals for the pins (SIG1 to SIG8) in the ALARM_8P block. Once u compile & download the os, the alarms would automatically apper in the wincc.But for this as Phantom said u need define message view in faceplate designer(wincc). Hope this helps. Regards Nil
