S7-200 frequency measuring

Evertjan Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello, I try to measure a frequency (RPM)from input I0.0 The input is a signal from a prox switch 30 puls/omw / 0-1200RPM >> 0-600Hz I no I have to use a high speed counter bases on a interupt, but until now I don't know how to fix this. Does anyone have a sample program for me?

Please, enter to the SIEMENS official website, then search for the manual 6ES7298-8FA21-8BH0, then take a look to pages 215 and the following & focus on page 234 where you can find a sample program. You have to use the HSC wizard for the configuration of the I0.0. I am attaching a PDF which is a Quick Reference Card for all the S7 200 CPU's and it give the details about HSC, I/O's, Memory Bits, Instructions, etc., I hope this helps you. In Support you can find the S7-200 system manual. I hope this helps
