Time synchronisation

Manuelzes Posts: 99 Rating: (7)	Hi i've a redundant project with 2 servers and 2 clients witout a project. winCC version 7.0 SP1 and 2 redundant 400H PLC's Some times the timesynchronisation comes through, if i changed the time in the PLC. Some times within a few minutes, some times abut an hour. But after a short period the time is not synchrone anymore and it will not again be synchronised. for my settings see downloads. Only thing I can think of is to check which server is master and which is standby during time synchronization. The main thing to remember is, if both access points are available then only access point 1 will be used. So now, if the time master is connected to access point 2 (since CP443-1 of rack 1 is master for example) the time will not be synchronized. Abetter way (IMO)would be make the PLC's time slaves and the WinCC servers master... Regards

CP 1613 objectproperties (tab options) Time of day Slave [time reciever] Now i have the right times in the configuration Console for the CP 1613. The next problem is that at server 1 The system time of windows not changes. Doe's anyone has an idee what can causes this problem??? PS: i'm not working in a domine and i have set the time server (windows date & time properties tab Internet Time) with the IP adress of the CP 443-1 Greetings, ME
