Extract bit from word

Flomaster Posts: 65 Rating: (2)	Hi! This is my first project using SIEMENS in STEP7 10.5 on LAD. I'm using S7-1200. I have variable of type WORD in my project. And I want to extract bits from this variable? But I don't know how can I do it. Can somebody explain it to me? Thanks!

I use SIMATIC STEP 7 Basic v10.5 for Siemens S7-1214 and there is no column "Address" in the function editor . There are only "Name", "Data type" and "Comment" columns. And I don't know how to get access to the bits of my WORD variable. What can I do in this case?
