WinCC comms to a S7-417H System

The PLC will have 2xCP443 cards connected to 2xCP1613 cards on the WinCC Servers. How do I configure WinCC to use these 2 cards in a PLC Redundancy manner. Are there any software options required for WinCC other than the standard RT,Redundancy,Server packages. Regards Philip

Nil96 Posts: 325 Rating: (14)	Hi DesignTech, I think u should use S7_Redconnect License for the CP1613 to connect to CP443 on redundant network. By the by u should also create Fault Tollerent Connection between CPU & Wincc in the Netpro. Regards Nil

ABN Posts: 212 Rating: (12)	Dear DesignTech, You need to create a configured connection between AS and OS in Netpro and need to activate check box :: Activate Maximum Redundancy. This will allow you to use 2 CP 443-1 and 2 CP 1613 to its maximum possible way. Also you need to have proper design of the scalance to achive redundancy to full level.
