Error installing WinAC RTX 2008

WouterB Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hello everyone, I've been trying to install several programs from the Premium Studio 2008SE package but I'm getting an error when the installation is trying to install "Ardence RTX Check Start RTX Services". Here's a list of programms that I was willing to install: [list][]SIMATIC Software for S7* STEP 7 V5.4 + SP4 []Enginering Tools* S7-SCL V5.3 + SP5 S7-PLCSIM V5.4 + SP2 []PC Based Automation* Windows Automation Center RTX 2008 []Tools* Automation License Manager V4.0[/list] My system specs are: [list]HP Compaq D530 SFF []P4 2.8GHz HT (ACPI Multiprocessor PC) []1,5GB Ram []40GB HDD []Onboard Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet for HP[/list] The first timeI tried installing the programswas onWindows XP Professional SP3 but this is where the error message came up. I browsed the internet and read that WinAC RTX 2008 without SP1 didn't work under XP SP3. So I installed a fresh copy of Windows XP Pro SP2 and repeated the installation process, but the same error popped up . The Windows XP installationsare cleanwith only the device drivers of the computers hardware installed. The image attached to this post is from the error message I'm getting shortly after thesystems reboots and continues the installation process. Any help is greatly appreciated. TomDeWou Platinum Member Joined: 11/15/2006 Last visit: 3/26/2025 Posts: 1319 Rating: (176)	Ok, I guess I have an solution for you: a) Copy the DVDs from Premium Studio on a Network drive or on a local disk with the structure like in the readme.pdf on page 12 (Capture 1.6) described and install WinAC RTX again. or b) select a second product which is stored on 3rd DVD - it seems the setup doesn't ask for 3rd DVD at this time
