Updating multiplex tags at will

CoolCat Posts: 17 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have a screen with 12 multiplex tags. All of these multiplex tags have a common index tag. I find that once the screen is displayed, the values displayed by the multiplex tags do not change even if the value of the tag, currently selected by the index tag, changes in the PLC.,It is only the display that does not get updated. The aquistion mode of all the multiplex tags is automatically set to 'Cyclic on use' and cannot be changed. What defines that the tag is in use? Also, is there an alternative way of updating the tag by using some event or function? Please help!!! Cheers.

If, for example, you use a multiplex tag in a script, after changing the memory area you do not directly access its content. => In a script, avoid changing the index of multiplex tags and then accessing those tags. Changing the index of multiplex tags and then accessing those tags (e.g. within the same script) can cause data inconsistency!
