changing the value of a marker

stevennoppe Posts: 65 Rating: (1)	I have set some markers as tags in my winCC project. Is it possible to change the marker from the touchscreen? e.g. M1.0 from value 0 to 1 and vice versa

Or use a button and go to properties -> events -> click and go to system functions -> edit bits -> invert bits or other function. Best regards, Wizard

stevennoppe Posts: 65 Rating: (1)	thx! but I also have another problem I have a word in my PLC program and a counter : If I press a button the counter counts up. If the counter == 1 then the lights 1 go on (button is pressed once) If the counter == 2 then the lights 2 also go on. (button is pressed twice) If I press the same button longer then 1 second,the counter is reset to zero and all the lights go off. what if I want to turn on the lights 1 and 2 from my display? I will have to reset the counter too from my display? Or maybe I didn't use the right solution for turning on the lights on and off with 1 button?

I will have to reset the counter too from my display? Hi, When you use a button, you can go to properties -> events You can choose Press or Release to use the function Calculation -> Increase value. In this case everytime you press (or Release)the button you can increase a Tag with a certain value. The reset, when you push the button longer then 1 second: I think you should use the PLC. When you press button use a function to set a bit in PLC (That bit starts a timer) When you release the button you can reset the same bit in PLC (to stop the timer) Hope this will help.
