Dear Sumi, In order to useGSM/ GPRS modem MD720-3in GPRS modus for the SIMATICS7-300 you needto use the SINAUT Telecontrol System. Havea look at the following link: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/38698845 In this case, you would connect the CPU to the TIM via the backplane and the TIM to the modem overa serial cable. SINAUT ST7 is compatible with the CPU 314 IFM, so this solution is possible. (You can check out in the following link http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/de/24059469) In Service & Support Portal under "contact" you can find the worldwide contacts.
