Wincc Licence Problem

StavrosGR Posts: 52 Rating: (4)	Hello to all We have an HMI PC with Wincc 2007 flexible runtime installed. The app we have build uses 1918 powertags (compile message : Info : Number of PowerTags used: 1918 ) Allthough we have bought and installed the 2048 tags licence, a pop up window comes up and says that too many tags where drown. Inside the licence manager i see that sometimes the demo licence is selected (allthough it has expired ) instead of the unlimited one. How can we delete the demo licence from the licence manager ? everytime i try to delete it it says that it is used. Why the message of "Too many tags" is coming up? Thanks in advance

StavrosGR Posts: 52 Rating: (4)	yes my licences is ok I did what the FAQ said , but nothing changed. Still the message that two many tags where displayed, comes up. The licence is for 2048 tags and my project after compile it uses 1918 powertags. Does the internal tags include in the powertags? because this may be the reason why this message comes up. Am I right or not?

Hi, The internal tags are not included in the number of Powertags. The powertags are the tags that are connected to PLC. When you start WinCC flexible RT, go to Automation License manager. Is there a way to count all the tags in the "Tag" section of WinCC Flexible 2007, so i can see if there are more tags that are not used , and are causing this? Is it possible unused tags to cause this message(I think the compiler counts only the tags used). Waiting for your opinions.

Yes, maximum is 400 variables per screen. When you compile the project, it will give you the amount of power tags used. Have you tried the following: Go to options -> delete temporary files. And then go to Project -> Compiler -> Rebuild all. Best regards, Wizard

We have installed WinCC Flex RT a lot of times inside our plant. We had never had this kind of problem. I will try to install it in another computer and see what will happen
